Antonis Gatsotis was born in Athens in 1985. He graduated from the department of English language and literature of UOA.

When he completed his postgraduate studies on Special Educational Needs at the university of Liverpool, he had already finished his second degree on Mass Media and Communication at the university of Athens and then he attended the one-year course on Special Educational Needs of the faculty of Primary Education again at the university of Athens.

In the meantime he was working not only as a teacher of English to students with special educational needs but also as a teacher in mainstream English classes. In parallel with his teaching development he founded “Letters” an intervention method aiming t teaching English to SEN students.

The aforementioned method is a combination of personal experience (he was also a student with learning difficulties) in conjunction with academic research since its basis comes from the thesis of his M.A. in SEN. All those efforts and work on the scientific field of special education and foreign language teaching led to the foundation of one of the first English language centers for students with special educational needs “ACG LETTERS” in the south suburbs of Athens.
